Rittenhouse Square is arguably one of the most coveted addresses in Philadelphia, home to many historic buildings and modern luxury residences.

Atelier & Co. was asked to design a set of apartments for a landmark building directly overlooking the green, as well as convert two condos into one for the neighboring Stern condominium tower.  

The two historic condominiums - one a single floor unit, and one a duplex - deploy a traditional vocabulary of rooms to create elegant spaces overlooking the Square.

The detailing is in a stylized classical vocabulary recalling pre-war luxury apartments in Manhattan and Philadelphia.
