Atelier & Co. was hired by the Hagan Acedemy to help redesign the master plan and detailed design of their new 4.5 acre campus in Columbia, Missouri, adjacent to historic Stephens College. The design focuses on traditional nineteenth century American collegiate design, as well as English baroque models to create an elegant and timeless look for this 21st Century scholarship school. The buildings are grouped around the perimeter of the site to create courtyard spaces for the campus. A tall central cupola marks the main administration building and creates a landmark on the Columbia skyline. The tall Doric style entry portico is framed by lower theater and library buildings creating a formal entry court for the campus.
