Atelier & Co. was asked by the owner of this 8-acre estate to design a grand villa complete with formal gardens in the manner of great eighteenth century French and Italian villas. Maintaining the footprint of the original house for zoning purposes, Atelier & Co designed the villa and gardens to operate as a gracious and formal weekend home for entertaining and private life.

A grand double-height ballroom facing the new formal garden terraces to the West provides the focal point for a series of elaborately decorated rooms and halls.
